MY STORY
Why The Pagman?
My name is Phil McComish, I started teaching in 1995 and have over 25 years teaching experience in the classroom, including teaching overseas in international schools in Kuwait and Thailand.
I left the classroom in 2021 to set up my own education business.
This has allowed me time to offer some CPD to new Physics Teachers, teaching the new teachers how to teach effectively, and to co-author an A level Book for the Cambridge International A Level Physics course which was published in January 2025 (Reference)
Teaching: I love teaching online and I now offer online tuitions for A level, IGCSE and GCSE all around the world including online in the UK.
Examiner: In the summer I am an examiner for 2 of the exam boards, one AS and one IGCSE, giving me up to date insight into the changing world of the exam papers.
Exam board work: Working for OCR I go into schools to inspect and advise on their A level Physics provision, as well as teaching teachers how to teach on CPD courses.
